We held both our ceremony and a hot fork buffet for 50 people on December 12th 2010. The staff, catering and of course the venue was flawless. What a winter wedding in the snow (it was lovely and warm inside!). The photographs are exquisite in the ruins. Could really not have been happier. Perfect.

York Venues
The Hospitium is still proving a very popular wedding venue, with 83 weddings taking place last year. Due to increasing demand, people are starting to be flexible in the days of the week, being more willing than ever to pick a cheaper day of the week and time of year, as Fridays and Saturdays get booked up very quickly.
The Conference business is still suffering due to the poor economic climate; businesses have extremely low budgets to work with meaning we have to be flexible in our prices, but this is not always possible. This has resulted in reduced corporate bookings.
We are pleased that events at York Castle Museum are on the increase as the venue becomes more widely known, particularly as a party venue in Kirkgate.
